DL/T 645-2007

Purpose

This plugin reads multifunction-meter data by DL/T 645-2007 data identifier and performs controlled close-permit or trip operations after password and operator-code configuration.

Open the plugin and supported scope

Create a TCP client, TCP server, serial, or UDP channel, then create a device using DL/T 645-2007. Supported types include Boolean, Byte, common integers, Float, Double, String, and Decimal.

Plugin properties

DL/T 645-2007 also inherits common read/write timeout, retry, write-priority, serial/TCP, and DTU settings; see Collection Configuration.

SettingDefaultDescription
Default address11111111111112-digit meter communication address used when a variable does not override it.
Operator code-Four-byte hexadecimal operator code required by control operations.
Password-Four-byte hexadecimal password. Trip/close supports only level-02 plaintext passwords. Keep it out of screenshots and logs.
PreambleFEFEFEFEWake-up prefix sent before the frame.
Control validity5 minutesRange 1 to 60; used to create the trip/close deadline.
DTU ID-Used for a DTU service connection.

Data-identifier addresses

Enter an eight-digit data identifier from the meter point list. Use S=123456789012 to override the meter address for one variable, and R=false to disable data-byte reversal (the default is R=true), for example S=123456789012;02010100;R=false. One address may contain only one data identifier, station override, and reversal option.

Special methods

MethodPurposeConfiguration
ClosePermitAsyncPermit closingSelect the method, set address to [], set protection to write-only; any write triggers it.
TripAsyncTripSelect the method, set address to [], set protection to write-only; any write triggers it.

Trip and close change the power state. Verify meter address, password, operator code, validity, user permission, and site safety first.

Functions

FunctionPurpose
Read and writeRead a confirmed point and write only to an approved test point.
MessagesView sent and received frames, protocol fields, and error details.

Device debug

Open Development Configuration → Collection Configuration, select the DL/T 645-2007 device and click More Functions, then open Debug.

FeaturePurpose
Read/WriteReads one or multiple data identifiers. Writes are only for approved test data.
MessagesShows 645 requests, responses, and checksum results.

DL/T 645-2007 read and write

The common Overview screenshot is not repeated. Execute trip/close through the configured special-method variable, not a normal data identifier.

Verify the configuration

  1. Read one known data identifier and compare it with the meter display.
  2. Check meter address, control code, and checksum under Messages.
  3. Perform trip/close only in an approved site test and verify physical feedback.
